If you're using a liquid cleaner for this task, make sure the treated surface is completely dry before moving on. After that, unroll the tape and begin applying it, starting at the bottom of the hoop and moving upward. Remember to apply the Aerial Hoop Tape in a spiral motion throughout this process, much like you would when threading a screw (see the product description image above). Wrap it around gently and make sure it adheres well without creating wrinkles or bubbles.
